The latest album from Roots of Mine. 2 songs from the album—“Green Trees” and “Something’s Got to Give”— were featured in the Kevin Smith movie, “Clerks 3” which was released September 12, 2022.

A 12-year journey culminating in their first self-titled album. Experience a sound that is uniquely their own. All tracks were recorded, produced, and mixed at 17th Street Recording Studio by producer Lewis Richards (Sublime, Slightly Stoopid, Dirty Heads, Fortunate Youth, and more). The album features guest vocals by Long Beach artists Shakamon and Dread Kennedy, guest horns by Eric Hirschorn, Cade Gotthardt (Rebelution, Tribal Seeds) and Phineas Crisp, guest keyboards by Ronnie King (2pac, Pepper, NOFX), guest production, backup vocals, and drums/percussion by Stanton Frazier (Sugar Ray) and dub remixes by Josh Cardinalli aka StoneyEye.

Roots of Mine was formed in 2010 in Los Angeles, California. In the heart of Los Angeles, California, Roots of Mine came together to create a different kind of reggae sound. Over the span of 10+ years, they meticulously crafted a fusion of Reggae, Rock, and other genres they loved and admired. This creative evolution is showcased in their latest self-titled album. The album charted in the TOP 10 of the iTunes reggae charts and is featured in the recent movie Clerks 3 Soundtrack.
